Camping Sass Dlacia - Lagazuoi lake fork

From the campsite go towards Capanna Alpina, then take the path number 11 in direction Fanes. After about a relatively steep one hour walk, you will reach the Col de Locia pass. From here the path continues with gentle ups and downs. This path is part of the Alta Via of the Dolomites. After crossing two bridges in about 30 minutes, you reach a large meadow, used as pasture during the summer. Then continue to the right on path 20B to then reach the Forcella del Lago through a stony and narrow way (1.5h from the meadow).

The Forcella is located in between of two imposing walls. From there you can enjoy a breathtaking view of both the surrounding peaks and the Lake Lagazuoi. From here the descent begins on the zig-zag path that leads to Lake Lagazuoi. The Scotoni Refuge is located half an hour from Lake Lagazuoi, where you can take refreshments. Follow the path that leads back to Capanna Alpina. The last stretch of the path runs along the ski slope. From Capanna Alpina go back towards the camping ending the loop route.
